Export Bahrain celebrates Women’s Day with Global Awards

Export Bahrain recognised the remarkable achievements of Bahraini women and their significant contributions to the Kingdom's prosperity on the occasion of Bahraini Women's Day.
Marking the day, Chief Executive Officer Safa Sharif AbdulKhaliq has been honoured with the Global Economics Award for "Best Emerging Women CEO of the Year in the Export Industry" In addition, Export Bahrain has received the "Best Government Agency for Women Empowerment" award from the European Global Sustainability & ESG Awards.
Through Export Bahrain’s support, 30% of the products and services exported have been from businesses owned by female entrepreneurs, empowering women in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Expressing her gratitude, Abdulkhaliq emphasised that the percentage of Bahraini women employed at Export Bahrain has far exceeded an impressive 90%. "We are proud to have achieved such a high level of representation and recognition for Bahraini women within our workforce," she remarked.
