NBB delegation attends COP28

A delegation from the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) attended the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) at Expo City Dubai.
The NBB delegation, led by NBB Group CEO Usman Ahmed, will be taking this opportunity to network with industry colleagues, climate change experts, and diplomats from around the world to discuss pressing issues related to the reduction of carbon emissions.
Members of the NBB delegation are participating in talks and panel discussions related to sustainability and its integration into the banking sector.
Abdulrahim Abdulhameed, Senior Associate and Sustainability Officer at NBB presented ‘NBB’s Sustainability Journey’ at the Bahrain Pavilion during the "Finance/Trade/Gender Equality/Accountability” day, where he showcased NBB’s accomplishments over the years, its sustainability strategy and framework, as well as NBB’s market position, tangible impacts, achievements, and milestones.
