Mumtalakat CEO visits Bahrain’s pavilion at COP28

Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mumtalakat, recently attended the Conference of the Parties of the United Nationals Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), currently taking place in Dubai.
As part of his visit, Shaikh Abdulla visited the Bahrain Pavilion at COP28, which provided insights into the newly launched National Action Plan “Bahrain Blueprint”, as announced by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which aims for carbon neutrality through a low-carbon economy, climate change adaptation, and sustainable opportunities in the new green economy.
He paid a visit to the "Safa" platform exhibit situated in Bahrain's pavilion. "Safa" is a newly launched portfolio company of Mumtalakat and a leading recent initiative of Bahrain to offset carbon emissions in line with the Kingdom's sustainability goals, to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2060.
