Gulf Air, Airbus celebrate success of A320 seminar
Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier and Airbus, a leading aircraft manufacturer have celebrated the success of the A320 Family Regional Seminar for Middle East, Africa and India operators held in Manama earlier this month.
Bringing together the region’s aviation experts, technical professionals and engineering managers, the two-day technical seminar served as a forum for knowledge-sharing and detailed and collaborative technical discussions.
Speaking at the seminar, jointly hosted by Airbus and Gulf Air, Jamal Hashim, Gulf Air A/Chief Technical Officer said: “On behalf of Gulf Air, as long- time Airbus partners and as the hosting partner of this technical symposium, I’m pleased to
be part of this platform that gathers the region’s amassed technical aviation expertise in Bahrain – the birthplace of GCC aviation.”
Gilles de Cevins, VP A320 Programme at Airbus Customer Services, stated: “The Airbus Regional Seminars aim at gathering the key airlines of a given part of the world and addressing their main operational difficulties.”
