UAC, BCCI Chairman Sameer Nass Wins CSR ‘Personality of the Year’ Award

Sameer Nass, Chairman of the Union of Arab Chambers and Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been honoured with “The Arab Personalities Award for the Most Influential Figures in Corporate Social Responsibility” for the year 2023.

The award was in the honorary category by the Regional Network for Corporate Social Responsibility.

This recognition comes as a testament to Nass’s impactful efforts and significant contributions to promoting corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ensuring its sustainability.

On receiving the award, Nass emphasized the crucial role of corporate social responsibility in advancing societies and fostering humanitarian, charitable, and voluntary concepts.

He underlined that social responsibility is not only a business principle but an integral part of their religion and deeply rooted in Bahraini society.

Expressing gratitude to the Regional Network for Corporate Social Responsibility, Nass commended their efforts in promoting CSR initiatives and thanked the organization for the honour bestowed upon him.

Nass took the opportunity to call on all entities, both private and civil institutions, urging them to enhance the concept of responsibility and broaden their activities.
