Unlocking Bahrain’s MICE potential

Marking a landmark moment for the Kingdom’s burgeoning MICE industry, Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) proudly hosted the prestigious International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Workshop.

This first-ever event for Bahrain brought together industry leaders from across the globe to explore strategies for unlocking the Kingdom’s immense MICE potential. The workshop featured insightful panel discussions on navigating trends, attracting high-impact events, and leveraging diverse perspectives to propel Bahrain’s MICE sector to new heights.

Experts from Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Gulf Air Group, and other notable organizations shared their knowledge and expertise, creating a platform for dynamic collaboration and idea exchange.

EWB didn’t just host the workshop – they seized the opportunity to solidify their position as a leading MICE destination. Two key partnerships were inked on the sidelines of the meet – between EWB and ICCA and EWB and MIC Middle East.

The strategic alliance between EWB and ICCA will see ICCA providing CICS training for EWB staff, hosting the annual ICCA Middle East Summit and International Destination Workshop at EWB, further elevating the venue’s profile and expertise.

The collaboration between EWB and MCI Middle East focuses on attracting high-impact events, particularly in the healthcare sector, leveraging MCI’s regional network and expertise to bring prestigious international gatherings to Bahrain.
