Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, has launched a new internship programme with the aim of developing talented female Bahraini engineering graduates.
The internship will offer valuable, first-hand experience in the professional setting of a world-class motorsport facility and has been launched in cooperation with The Supreme Council for Women. DiverseDrive is an engineering internship designed to provide aspiring female engineers with hands-on experience in the exciting world of motorsport.
The programme will offer university graduates the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals, learn from industry experts, and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the motorsport domain.
The three-month internship is open to all Bahraini female engineering graduates with a degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical, civil or related fields.
This internship will have a focus on developing technical skills specific to facilities engineering, such as CAD software proficiency, equipment maintenance, or energy efficiency analysis, among others.
Additionally, interns can improve their communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and project management skills, while learning from BIC’s engineering team and get exposed to a broader perspective, which will help them better align their career aspirations with the industry’s requirements.
