BTEA Boosts Collaboration: Strengthening Partnerships with Private Tourism Sector

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) reiterated its commitment to bolstering partnerships with private tourism sector entities and supporting their growth and competitiveness.
This commitment aims to expedite the development of the tourism sector, empower these entities to diversify income streams, create higher-quality employment opportunities, and increase their overall contribution to the GDP.
These efforts align with the ambitious goals outlined in the Kingdom of Bahrain's tourism strategy for the period 2022-2026.
This was stated by Ms. Dana AlSaad, Deputy CEO for Resources and Projects at the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), during the inauguration of the new branch of Global Travel & Tourism Office on Isa Al Kabeer Street, the company which stands as a flagship for a leading travel and tourism company in the Kingdom.
The event drew the attendance of various officials and representatives from Bahrain's travel and tourism industry, along with the dedicated staff of the company.
During her participation in the ceremony, Ms. Dana AlSaad underscored the Authority's dedication to creating an appealing environment for investment in the tourism sector.
This commitment involves offering essential support and facilities to individuals interested in initiating or expanding their tourism projects.
Ms. AlSaad pointed out the growing issuance of tourism licenses for various companies, projects, and services, highlighting the continuous endeavors of the Ministry of Tourism and BTEA to reinforce investor confidence in the Kingdom of Bahrain as a promising tourist Hub.
Mr. Faisal Alireza, Managing Director of Global Travel, expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Tourism and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority for providing extensive administrative and organizational support, facilitating the opening of the new branch.
He mentioned that the company is actively pursuing its ambitious strategy to further promote the tourism services it offers.
This strategy includes fostering collaboration with the government sector, emphasizing integration and coordination efforts, and showcasing Bahrain's tourism potential.
These initiatives aim to enhance the sector's positive contribution to the GDP and attract an increased number of tourists to the Kingdom.
