House of Uniforms (HOU), Bahrain’s leading provider of high-quality uniforms and workwear solutions, marked a significant milestone yesterday with the grand opening of its newest showroom in Tala Plaza.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by industry dignitaries and media representatives, signifying the company’s unwavering commitment to growth and innovation.
HOU General Manager Yacoob Yusuf Akbar who has been with the company for 20 years since its establishment in 1985, outlined the company’s exciting future plans during the event.
The centerpiece of these plans is the establishment of a new, state-of-the-art factory within the Kingdom, envisioned as the “jewel of their crown.”
This facility, spanning 5,000 square meters, will significantly boost production capacity and enhance logistical efficiency, supporting regional expansion aspirations.
Sustainability is a key focus for HOU, and the new factory will prioritize the use of eco-friendly materials like organic cotton and recycled polyester, including the rare degradable recycled polyester.
“We are proud to source this material and contribute to sustainable practices,” said Mr. Akbar. “As a Bahraini company, we are committed to giving back to our community, and this factory will create local jobs and reduce reliance on imported raw materials.”
