ila Bank honours Al Kanz 2023 million-dollar grand prize winner

ila Bank, Bahrain’s leading digital, mobile-only bank, announced the winner of the US$ One Million Mega Prize of the 2023 Al Kanz Saving Account raffle draw - Mubarak Ahmed Buanq.

Mubarak was treated to a spectacular prize handover ceremony held at Bank ABC’s Head Office on 7 February 2024.

Buanq was overwhelmed with joy upon being notified he had won the Al Kanz 2023 million dollar grand prize. “I was completely astonished as I never thought I could be a winner of such an enormous cash prize.

My family couldn't believe it in the beginning either, until the Bank announced my name as the winner through an Instagram post, creating an unforgettable moment of sheer joy,” he said.
