Stronger Bahrain-US ties hailed

In a significant step towards bolstering diplomatic ties, MP Maryam Al-Dhaen, Deputy Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs, Defence, and National Security Committee at the House of Representatives, highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with the USA.
Speaking after meeting a delegation from the US Senate, Al-Dhaen underscored the paramount importance the Bahraini legislative authority places on fostering cooperation and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
She also emphasised the keen interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in bolstering bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit and development of both nations.
The meeting, held on February 22, aimed to explore avenues for strengthening the strategic ties between Bahrain and the US across various domains, the MP said. Present at the meeting were Yahya Ali Al Mulla, Assistant Secretary-General for Committees, Sessions, and Parliamentary Support, and Dr. Saleh Ibrahim Al Ghathith, Head of the Legal Consultative Authority.
Discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation and parliamentary collaboration between the two nations to achieve common aspirations and desired goals. Both sides expressed mutual appreciation for the positive trajectory of development and democracy in Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King. The US delegation commended Bahrain’s comprehensive reform initiatives, which aim to elevate the Kingdom’s status on the global stage.
