Albayan Media Group (AMG), a trade show and exhibition event management company in Bahrain, and the Roscongress Foundation, a socially oriented non-financial Russian development institution and a major organiser of international conventions, have signed a partnership agreement.
The deal establishes a cooperation framework between the two entities for the management, coordination, and implementation of trade events such as conferences, forums, exhibitions, and other related activities between the Russian Federation and Bahrain.
The partnership agreement, which was signed by A. Hamid Alasfoor, Managing Director, AMG, and Alexander Stuglev, Chief Executive Officer, Roscongress Foundation, will develop mutual consultancy, exchange expert resources, and provide a support framework for Bahrain-Russia joint trade event collaborations in priority sectors such as investment and finance, export and import, manufacturing, tourism, and culture.
The agreement aims to contribute in the long term to enhancing trade relations and boosting business and investment opportunities between both countries. AMG, a trade show and exhibition event management company, has in previous years organised numerous successful trade events and exhibitions promoting Russian businesses in Bahrain, under the patronage of high-level delegations led by ministers of chambers of commerce of both countries and participated in by representatives from various public and private sector entities and a huge number of Russian and GCC businessmen.
According to A. Hamid Alasfoor, “This cooperation agreement is an important strategic partnership that will contribute to promoting trade opportunities and further strengthening business exchanges between Bahrain and Russia.”
Alexander Stuglev says, “The agreement is vital in providing investors and entrepreneurs with an accessible platform to conduct networking activities and collaboration for increased trade opportunities, sustainability, and knowledge exchange, and to encourage the development of new joint ventures between Russian and Bahraini businessmen.”
Kicking off the collaboration is AMG’s participation in the forthcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), an annual key business event by Roscongress, to be held on June 5–8, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The forum is regularly attended by more than 10,000 people from over 120 different countries and brings together the chief executives of major Russian and international companies, heads of state, political leaders, prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, departmental ministers, and governors.
