Applications open for THMC Entrepreneurship Award 2024

The prestigious Entrepreneurship Award 2024, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and organized by the Thattai Hindu Merchants Community, THMC, is now accepting entries.

1. Women in STEM: Recognizing the achievements of women who have excelled in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

2. Startup of the Year: Highlighting the most promising and innovative startups in operation for 3 years or less, that have made significant strides in their industry.

3. Entrepreneur of the Year: Honoring visionary leaders who have shown remarkable success and resilience in the world of business and have been in operations for a minimum of 5 years.

4. Innovation and Tech Business of the Year: Celebrating businesses that have leveraged technology and innovation to drive growth and success.

“The Entrepreneurship Award 2024” aims to serve as a contribution towards the goal of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 which encourages entrepreneurship and strengthens the spirit of Team Bahrain “, said Mukesh Kavalani, President of THMC.

"This award is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity of entrepreneurs who drive our economy forward. We look forward to celebrating their success at the gala event”, added Mr. Kavalani.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present their pitch in front of a judging panel on April 7th, and the Entrepreneurship Award will be presented at a formal dinner event on April 15th, with the attendance of H.E Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, where they will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to the business community.
