The 4th Annual Women’s Conference of Bahrain Chapter of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) will he held today through virtual mode. The theme of this year conference is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.” where in our galaxy of star-studded speaker would enlighten the audience and members on wide gamut of topics ranging from Women’s leadership, financial literacy, gender equality, economic empowerment, career challenges, etc.

The inaugural session will be presented by CA. Buvana Paneer Selvam, Excom member of BCICAI and the highlight of the inaugural session will be the keynote address by Ms. Elena Botvina, Economic Affairs officer, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development who will be addressing the audience on the topic Gender equality in accounting profession.

Notably, Ms. Elena has conducted extensive research and contributed to preparing analytical reports on sustainability & sustainable development goals reporting as well as coordinated towards development of practical case studies for measuring the contribution of private sector to sustainable development goals.

Other notable and distinguished speakers include Ms. Layla Al Qassab, CFO, The Benefit Company, who will be speaking about The Art of Navigating Career Challenges: Insights from Women Leaders, Ms. Subhalakshmi Krishnamoorthy, Former Deputy Director ISRO, who will be speaking about Breaking Barriers: Investing in Education for Girls and Women Worldwide, CA. Sripriya Kumar, Central Councial Member of ICAI who will be interacting with audience on How to build Communities and Connections empowering Women?.

The galaxy list of speakers also includes Dr. Srimathy Kesan, Founder & CEO, Space Kidz India who will be discussing about Prioritizing Women: Unlocking the Potential, Ms. Noorhan Al Zann, Founder and CEO, Noor Coaching & Consultancy, who will be taking us through the topic The Role of Women’s Organizations in Accelerating Progress and Ms. Paddy Kennedy, Founder & CEO, Kennedy Communication Studio Int’l & CA Mahavir Kothari, Director Middle East, ISAW who will be presenting us with Fostering Women’s Leadership in Finance: Building Bridges with Male Allies, Standing Tall, and Speaking Out.
