Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) is set to unveil its new threeyear (2024-2026) strategic plan, called “Riyadah,” according to Chief Executive Officer Yaser Alsharifi.

The core principle of “Riyadah” is speed, with a focus on addressing customer needs as quickly and efficiently as possible.

“Our commitment to customer satisfaction is paramount,” Alsharifi told The Daily Tribune. “We strive to tailor solutions to specific customer needs by leveraging innovative technology.”

This commitment was revealed during an interview with Mr. Alsharifi at BisB’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held yesterday at the Gulf Hotel, Bahrain.

Beyond the emphasis on speed, the “Riyadah” strategy prioritizes security, privacy, and anti-fraud measures.

BisB has a proven track record in these areas over the decades, and the new strategy further strengthens this commitment. BisB will also invest heavily in its digital infrastructure, particularly its retail platform.

Additionally, the bank plans to prioritize anti-fraud and compliance systems to further secure and support its customer base.

While 2024 will be a year of solidifying BisB’s local position, the bank also has expansion plans in place.

Regardless of location, BisB aims to reach new customers and provide them with exceptional service.”While this year presents challenges, our priorities remain clear: focusing on the local market and developing innovative, digital solutions,” Alsharifi stated.
