Stage set for BFC-KCA Softball Cricket Tournament 2024

The BFC-KCA Softball Cricket Tournament will start from 27 April.

The tournament will be managed by the organizing committee headed by sports secretary Vinod Daniel, tournament convener Anto Joseph and coordinator Jithin Jose.

KCA President Nithyan Thomas said in a press conference that the aim of the tournament is to bring unity and brotherhood among all communities in Bahrain through the medium of sports.

Officials informed that the tournament will be organized at the KCA ground in Segya from 7pm onwards.

Registration fee for 5 over softball cricket tournament is BD30 per team and each team can register 6+3 players. Cash prize, trophy Winners will be awarded a cash prize and winner’s trophy and runners-up will be awarded a cash prize and runner-up trophy.

Individual awards like Man of the Final Match, Best Bowler, Best Batter and Man of the Tournament will also be given.

As in previous years, more than 20 teams are expected to participate in this tournament, which will see the impact player option implemented for the first time in Bahrain, officials said.

The teams will be divided into groups and the matches will be held on a league basis.
