Bahrain Chamber discusses enhancing bilateral trade with Egyptian and Italian Ambassadors

Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Sameer Nass received the Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Reham Khalil and the Italian Ambassador to Bahrain, Andrea Catalano yesterday at the Chamber’s headquarters in the presence of some of the chamber’s board members.
Speaking at the meeting, Nass hailed the Bahraini-Egyptian bilateral relations, expressing the Chamber’s aspiration to bolstering bilateral trade opportunities through joint ventures.
He emphasized the importance of fostering trade exchanges in promising sectors such as agriculture, real estate, and IT.
For her part, the Egyptian ambassador praised the Chamber efforts in supporting economic ties between Bahrain and Egypt, expressing her appreciation for the collaborative efforts that led to increase in trade exchange.
She also commended Bahrain’s development policy and progress in multiple fields, making it an important investment destination, especially in the commercial and industrial sectors.
Separately, Nass also met the Italian Ambassador and discussed fostering bilateral relations to achieve economic growth, particularly in the fields of pharmaceutical, aluminum, vocational education, and tourism.
For his part, Catalano hailed the Bahrain Chamber for its outstanding efforts in enhancing cooperation and trade investments between both countries, emphasizing the Italian government’s commitment to enhancing the bilateral relationship across all levels in order to achieve mutual interests.
