The Asian School conducts Investiture Ceremony

The Asian School conducted its Investiture Ceremony for the new Student Council for Academic Year 2024-25 on Monday. The ceremony commenced with the recognition of the outgoing Student Council for their dedicated service.
The Deputy Head Boy for the previous academic year, Girish Chinnaiya G., shared his experiences, imparting wisdom to the newly selected members.
The new Student Council was then welcomed onstage, where they were formally bestowed with titles and sashes by esteemed dignitaries; Chairperson Elizabeth Joseph, Director Lovy Joseph, Principal Molly Mammen and Vice Principals Elizabeth Sadan and Antony Jude.
Led by the Head Boy Gladwin Britto Arakkal and Head Girl Ridha Fathima Ashir, the Student Council pledged to fulfill their duties diligently and uphold the institution’s honor. Expressing gratitude, they vowed to serve with utmost dedication.
Accompanied by House Captains and Sports Captain, they illuminated the ceremonial lamp, followed by words of encouragement from the Principal, emphasizing honesty, unity, discipline, and morality.
The event concluded with the Head of Activities, Mini Roy, announcing the ‘Best Class’ per grade for the month of April, a new initiative for the new academic year.
The seamless coordination of the event by Grade 11 A students and their Class Teacher Sahba Riyaz Azmi, ensured that students were inspired and the deserving leaders were empowered to explore their potential.
