ASRY, the leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, has announced its participation in Posidonia 2024, the world’s top shipping exhibition, held from June 3-7, 2024, in Athens, Greece.
This showcase will boost ASRY’s commercial presence in one of the world’s most prestigious maritime and shipping hubs.
Dario Arcella, ASRY’s Chief Operating Officer, commented: “The Greek market is considered one of the most important maritime markets in Europe, and an efficient way to reconnect with a variety of clients in the sector, to showcase our long-standing experience and expertise, and market our products and services.
With a significant portion of our business and long-term partnerships based in Greece, this market has been an important part of our revenue streams.” On the other hand, ASRY’s Business Development Manager, Mohammed Sultan, stated “This exhibition will provide ASRY with a valuable platform to start new relationships and reinforce existing ones with our current portfolio of clients in the marine repair and maintenance sector.
It will also play an effective role in boosting our commercial presence in the global maritime hubs, further consolidating our leading position in the regional and global market.”
Mr. Sultan also noted that Posidonia 2024 is expected to feature a record number of exhibitors, including more than two thousand companies, as well as tens of thousands of representatives from the exhibiting companies, speakers, and visitors from around the world. The exhibition will be accompanied by a programme of conferences and seminars, making it a global hub for companies operating in the maritime sector in the region.
