St Chris gears up for Festive Fayre

The annual Festive Fayre of St Christopher’s School will be held on Saar Campus on December 4 from 11am to 3pm. It is organised by the Friends of St Chris (FOSC) as the school’s main fundraising event.

This huge event has attracted more than 5,000 visitors recent years.

The Fayre opens with the celebrity appearance of Santa arriving in style, as a convertible BMW temporarily replaces his sleigh!

Children can enjoy visits to his grotto throughout the day, where they are treated with a chance to speak with the man himself.

Visitors from the local community come together in supporting this annual event, which is fully staffed by volunteers.

The school is always pleasantly overwhelmed with the show of support from the local and wider community.

Over 80 vendors will be offering all sorts of items, activities and festive gifts from around the world, with home baked treats such as cookies, gingerbread and cakes also on offer.

Children of all ages enjoy a variety of activities, and the raffle is always very popular with hundreds of visitors thronging the school hall to know about the winners at the end of the day.

Tickets are available on the door for BD1 per person.
