Al Mahd Inter-School Debate contest held
Al Mahd Day Boarding School organised the XVI Al Mahd Inter-School Debate on December 12, on Saar School premises.
Thirty participants from eight top private schools of Bahrain, including the host school, hotly debated on the topics: “Man is Mankind’s Enemy” (for Junior Group) and “Smart Learning is Not So Smart” (for Senior Group)
The participating schools included The New Indian School; The Indian School, Bahrain (ISB); Al Mahd Day Boarding School, Saar; The Asian School; New Millennium School; Creativity Private School; Al Rawabi School; and Al Mahd Day Boarding School, Samaheej.
The school’s Chairman Habib Kassim, welcomed the gathering. He underlined the importance of public speaking in pupils and wished best of luck to all participants.
The school Managing Director, H. G. Sharma, handed over the rolling trophy & prizes to the winners. He thanked all for their cooperation.
