Grade 10 students given grand farewell

The graduating students of Grade 10 of the Asian School were given a spectacular farewell by the 9th Graders on January 24. The event, which took place at the school’s Dr. Abdul Kalam Memorial Auditorium, comprised of an entertaining programme followed by lunch.

The highlight of the event was the personality contest in which Nathan Job Antony of Grade 10 B emerged as Master Asian School and Renjini Raphy of Grade 10 A became Miss Asian School.

Rynal Levin D’souza of Grade 10 A and Noureen Khan of Grade 10 C won the Master and Miss Congeniality titles.

The judges for the contest were former teachers Indu Bhatia and Kanak Latha as well as a former parent of the school, Anu Jose.

Principal Molly Mammen, in her speech gave a few parting words of advice while wishing them every success.

A sumptuous lunch was served, after which the students took to the dance floor along with their teachers for a memorable culmination of the event.
