Bahrain St. Chris school on a winning streak
Intermediate Girls Football Team
St Christopher’s Intermediate Girls Football Team won the overall finals of the BPSSL (Bahrain Private Schools Sports League) Football League.
The Intermediate Girls Football Team consisted of Alison Ross (Capt), Kia Hanahoe, Elligh Sissons, Erica Moolman, Fatema Alyaqoob, Danielle Wilkinson Julia Hashem, Luna Dreyer, Shauna Holland (Vice Capt) Anood Al Jassmi, Steffi Hall and Afaf Sidani.
Senior Boys Under 19
The Senior Boys Football squad had a great season remaining undefeated. The squad also travelled to Dubai and won the Under 19 Unity Cup for the second successive year. This year the team was captained by Adam Al Shehabi. Their positive results resulted in them being top of the league and enabled them to qualify for the Championship Finals at the Rugby Club against Ibn Khuldoon National School. The team played some great football in the final and won 4-1 with a convincing display.
The Senior Boys Under 19 Squad: Salman Al Awardi, Faisal Al Haddad, Christophe Karam, Nikolei Balet, Adam Al Shehabi, Ayman Anwar, Jean Boujakli, Marwan Favre, Faisal Al Khalifa, Yousif Al Obaidli, Adam Harper, Ali Mattar,Sean Ross, Kieran Hanahoe, Nazar Yousef, Mohammad Fazli, Abdulla Janahi and Mohammad Mattar. Coaches: Colin Wortley and Michael Davies.
Junior Boys Under 13
The Under 13 Boys Football squad had a great season winning all their league matches with some very attractive Football skills. This year the team was captained by Louis Mulleague. Winning all their league matched resulted in them qualifying for the Championship Finals at Riffa Views International School. The team played some great Football in the final and won in a penalty shootout.
The Junior Boys Under 13 Squad: Callum Dawson,Murray Gardiner, Colby Altman, Hamad Al Khalifa, Louis Mulleague (Capt), Cameron Sandy, Fritz Tautenhahn, Faris Al Khalo, Kareem Bagaeen, Roshan Rahamathullah, Stan Szecowka, Vince Vrijhof, Ali El Adawi, Mohammed Al Shehab, Issam Khan, Noah Moore and Joel Watts.
