Al Wisam awarded MSA accreditation

Manama : Al Wisam International School has been awarded Middle States Association(MSA)   accreditation. This was announced at an assembly in their Budaiya campus after the four-day  MSA accreditation visit which ended on Thursday.

Since the turn of the 20th century, accreditation has had a major impact on International education, with Middle States Association among the pioneers in the field. Now, Al Wisam International School is celebrating their accreditation with MSA.

Dr. Lina Lewis, School Principal and leader, said: “We believe that the ‘one size fits all’ model of education is no longer appropriate for today’s student. Children have different learning styles and some achieve better in certain environments. We are committed to continuing our quest to find the most effective ways for all students to learn.”

“Al Wisam School symbolizes how unified the Board of Governers, PTSA, administration, staff, students and our community are in our belief that the work we do every day has the power to make a difference in children’s lives. We strive to inspire the young mind of the future!” Dr. Lina added.

“Al Wisam International School  has 3 overall objective for the year 2016, and they are to raise academic standards of English and Mathematics grades by 2 per cent annually for grades 1 – 12, and to have differentiated strategies professional development activities in the classroom by 2023. We feel they are ambitious, but achievable goals.  Our school is a family culture that permeates joy, and we have a visionary leader who has assembled a strong team of professionals in the true understanding of learning in the child.”
