NMS-DPS shine at IIMUN

Manama : New Millennium School-DPS students excelled in the International Model United Nations (IIMUN) which was held in Bahrain for the first time with the participation of delegates from different schools in the Kingdom at the Al Hekma International School.

Around 93 students from NMS-DPS passionately discussed and debated pressing world issues and consequently passed effective resolutions at the conference with over 350 delegates from all across the island. The conference helped the students in gaining a new perspective on the importance of discussions for solving conflicts for a better and informed world.

Following is the list of the award winners from NMS-DPS:

Best Delegate: Arjun Verma- Indian Cabinet; Moksh Pachisia- FIFA; Saamia Zia- Commission on Status of Women (CSW); Rufus Roby and Mahalakshmi Iyer- Security Council; Ashwin Ramesh- DISEC.

High Recommendation: Neha Sharma- Indian Cabinet; Sindhuja Sundar- Commission on Status of Women (CSW); Keerti Dash- GCC.

Special Mention: Rosalind Agasti- Indian Cabinet; Sara John and Mohammed Ibrahim- FIFA; Utkarsh Dixit and Taikhum Kothambawala – Security Council; Seema Shetty- DISEC.
