Scholarships for graduation by Bahrain's US embassy

Manama: The U.S. Embassy has announced two competitive programmes for graduate-level study in the United States for the 2017-2018 academic year. 

The Fulbright Graduate Scholarship provides two years of fully-funded graduate-level study in all fields except medicine. 

Programme participants pursue a wide range of academic disciplines, including the arts, humanities, business, finance, science, technology, education, and journalism.  Fulbright recipients may study at the master’s level only.  The programme will start in fall 2017.  Application and information is available at: http://bahrain.usembassy.gov/fulbright_program.html

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship is a nine-month programme, which provides mid-career professionals with an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through graduate-level coursework and professional affiliations at institutions throughout the United States.  This is a non-degree programme.  Fellowships are available in a broad variety of fields.  The programme will start in fall 2017.  Application and information is available at:http://bahrain.usembassy.gov/humphrey_fellowships.html

Applications and documents must be completed and delivered by hand to the US Embassy no later than close of business on Monday, June 20, 2016

Humphrey Fellowship programme are among the US government’s most prestigious exchange programmes designed to give participants —chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential — the opportunity to study, teach, conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.
