New Indian School honours Excellence
The New Indian School (NIS) held its 19th Award ceremony on saturday at the school auditorium. The ceremony was an opportunity to formally recognize and extol the outstanding performance of the meritorious students at the AISSE (CBSE- X) and AISSCE (CBSE- XII) Examinations 2016 and to thank parents and teachers for their continuous support and guidance. Chairman Dr. T. T. Thomas was the chief guest who did the honours of handing out the trophies. Director & Principal Dr. V. Gopalan conveyed his best wishes to all the meritorious students and wished them all success in their future endeavors.
Parents of the awardees took the opportunity to share their views and thoughts about the role of the teachers and expressed their gratitude towards the school to guide their wards and facilitate excellent performance.
On the same platform, students (from LKG to class XII) were felicitated and awarded for their 100% attendance in the academic year 2015-16.
The event was adorned with a few cultural performances that were not only entertaining but also had an educating note.
