Get your Certificates via Mail

Manama: In coincidence with the end of the current semester along with the Ministry of Education’s (MoE) restless pursuit to facilitate its services to students especially during the post-graduation phase; the ministry was keen to develop a batch of electronic services that are obtainable at all times and with the least of efforts. Some of these services include the ‘Issuing Copies of Student Certificates’ available via the national portal bahrain.bh, eKiosks and the ministry’s website www.moe.gov.bh.

The service also enables government school students the ability to electronically apply for copies of intermediate and secondary certificates from the ministry’s Examinations Directorate by entering a range of data including the CPR number, its expiry date, block number, then electronically pay the fees (that are determined by the number of copies and the type of the required documents). Students then receive an SMS message that notifies them of their postal number and that their application is in progress at the ministry and can be tracked at the Post Office, Postal Services available at the bahrain.bh national portal or the Postal Services application. Copies are then attainable via the mail.

The service also enables the submission for a set of certificates; for instance, graduated students of grade three intermediate level are able to apply for their intermediate graduation certificates through this service. As for graduated students of secondary schools; they are capable of requesting for grade transcripts of all semesters or for the final semester only, graduation certificate of intermediate level or the secondary school certificate.

The ministry commented that the service is truly vital at this time, especially for secondary school students – given that they are presently working on completing the submission procedures of  enrolling and registering in universities. Naturally, universities request the original copies of certificates and grade transcripts that the ministry provides; hence, the ministry seeks to provide this service for the purpose of obtaining the required copies as it is electronically accessible 24/7 and the copies do not take long period of time to reach the applicant via mail.

The ministry also urged students to benefit from such electronic service which had been provided at the beginning of their launch, alongside other services, in the traditional method. However, over the years, the service was gradually transformed to become fully electronic due to its accessibility and considering that students are the largest of segments that respond to and benefit from the services. A number of eKiosk machines are available at the ministry’s premises where the eService can be carried-out; then copies are received via mail and not the ministry.
