Bahrain Polytechnic Bids Farewell to Head of ICT & Web Media School

Bahrain Polytechnic’s Acting CEO, Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri, honored the Head of ICT & Web Media School, Mr. Trevor Prendergast, on the occasion of ending his seven year tenure at the Polytechnic.

Dr. Al Aseeri praised Mr. Prendergast’s dedication in order to elevate the Polytechnic’s academic programmes, notably in the Engineering, Design and ICT Faculty. He played a prominent role in preparing and establishing the ICT Innovation Center in 2013, as well as creating and developing a number of computer labs.

Dr. Al Aseeri added: “We wish Mr. Prendergast all the best in his future. He was an active member of the Polytechnic, and contributed greatly in gaining accreditation for various programmes.”

The Deputy CEO of Academic Services, Dr. Hasan Almulla, and Deputy CEO of Resources & Information Affairs, Sh. Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, admired Mr. Prendergast’s outstanding work ethic and his contribution in developing the Polytechnic, which in turn develops the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In turn, Mr. Trevor Prendergast expressed his sincere appreciation to the executive management of Bahrain Polytechnic for this honor, as well as the hospitality received throughout the duration of his work. He added that his years at the Polytechnic was a significant milestone in his career and wished the Polytechnic a successful future.
