Promoting Robotics in Al Noor International School
Manama : Al Noor International School has started a Robotics Club for its High school students to promote the integration of science, technology, math and engineering. This will have the added effect of inculcating some of the values the school upholds, such as confidence, responsibility, integrity and courage.
The students will also benefit from the opportunity to build and programme miniature robots. Once they have mastered these skills, they will be encouraged to participate in robotic programming competitions
The Robotics Club currently has 40 members, but it is envisaged that in the not too distant future, membership will be expanded to include Primary school students as well. The staff and students are excited about the launch of this new initiative and are confident that this will soon prove to be another area in which the school will excel.
