New Indian School Bahrain marked Dussehra
Manama : Festive mood spread as the New Indian School, Bahrain held a special assembly marking Dussehra, a festival rejoicing the victory of the good over the evil.
The celebration began with a brief explanation on the significance of Dussehra, highlighting the values embedded in it.
The assembly was further adorned with melodious and sacred hymns, skit imparting the message that good always wins over the evil and an illustration of how it is celebrated across India.
Speaking on the occasion, Director and Principal, Dr. V. Gopalan remarked that festivals are not only moments of joy but also a time to imbibe the values that are deeply rooted in them.
He further added that with right thoughts, words and actions, we can combat all odds in the society.
