J C Bose House overall champions in Indian School Bahrain Youth Festival

Manama : J C Bose House was declared the overall champions with 1933 points in the Indian School Bahrain(ISB) Youth Festival Tarang 2016  held in the Isa Town campus.

The  runners up were Aryabhatta house with 1918 points. LMRA CEO Ausamah Al Absi, the Chief Guest at the Grand Finale who  distributed the trophy to the winners, said that students need overall development and ISB has been providing such an environment.

The Guest of Honour   M V V Prasada Rao, Director CBSE, appreciated the school management, administration and staff for providing the platform for the students to showcase their inherent talents which will boost their self-confidence.

Other Guests of Honour  Tariq Al Absi Debt Collection Manager of ASRY, Bhagwan Asarpota  Chairman ICRF,   Devendar Sharma Educationist,   Shakeel Ahmed CEO & Managing Director of Shakeel Trading also congratulated the students and the school for such a grand event and a disciplined effort.

Principal V R Palaniswamy  welcomed the guests . School  Chairman Prince S Natarajan in his presidential address congratulated everyone and declared the name of the prestigious championship awards.

The Secretary Dr. Shemily P John in her address stressed the need to combine curricular and co-curricular activities together. 

Vice-Chairman Muhammed Iqbal presented the salient features of the youth festival and acknowledged the people behind the show. Present during the event were other Executive Committee Members Dr. Manoj Kumar, Mohammed Khursheed Alam, S K Ramachandran, Saji Anthony, Jayafar Maidani, Priya Laji, teachers, parents and prize winners.

The vote of thanks was proposed by the Head teacher of activities Sreekanth Sreedharan. 

There were around 996 winners who got a chance to lay their hands on the prizes.
