Little performers of ISB celebrating ‘India @ 70’
The Indian School Bahrain(ISB) Riffa Campus organized its Youth Festival 2016 under the theme ‘India @ 70’. The grand opening witnessed the ribbon cutting ceremony by ISB Vice Chairman Muhammed Iqbal. This was followed by lighting the lamp in the presence of ISB Riffa Campus Principal Sudhir Krishnan, Vice Principal and staff.
Muhammed Iqbal addressed the gathering and congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements of the term and teachers for their inspiring academic excellence.
He also applauded the students and teachers for their thriving efforts.
Some of the outstanding performances witnessed were the musical retrospective titled Unity in Diversity, Guardians of the Frontiers, Space Missions, India’s Lifeline -The Railways and its Vision 2020, Social Media, Women Empowerment from Earth to Moon and beyond. The acts delivered significant messages mirroring social responsibility and traditional values.
The festival concluded with colourful and exciting events relating to cultural heritage leading up to modern day life styles.
The vibrant auditorium at the Riffa campus decked to the occasion echoed with thrilling enthusiasm as children cheered their peers. The event indeed was an inspiration in leading the way for the next generation in making their choices and contributions.
