First Teachers Forum for eCommerce and Internet Safety

First Forum for eCommerce and Internet Safety for Teachers 2016 will be launched on December 5 at the Education Ministry’s hall in Isa Town.

The eCommerce and IT Directorate in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism in liaison with the Directorate of Students Services in the Ministry of Education are co-organizing the event in pursuit of raising and expanding the electronic cultural awareness and knowledge in the field of eCommerce applications and Internet safety among all members of the society.

This unique initiative is a product of the keen governmental cooperation to seek out their ambitious vision in digitally enabling all members of societies and enhancing eEducation which is one of the most leading applications in eCommerce in the future schools.

Therefore, the two directorates have been keen to keep up with the technology development which we are witnessing nowadays in addition to the continuation of provisioning useful programs for local and global markets in this field, through organizing a special forum for teachers and parents sharing the same background in order to prepare them to safely use technological solutions and optimally using eCommerce applications in the education field considering all the rules of security and safety which concerns both the student and the parent on the web.

It is worth mentioning that the forum will include various topics, most notably, the children’s safety on the Internet, in addition to providing the latest studies and statistics about the optimal use of the Internet in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as the presentation of the risks of the Internet in the areas of technology, health, social and behavioral aspects, besides highlighting some examples of electronic crimes in the Kingdom of Bahrain and how to have safe solutions. Furthermore, the forum will conclude by providing eCommerce applications and technical solutions to promote the concepts of security and safety for the audience.
