Indian School Bahrain gets Tot Spot

As a culmination of the week-long celebrations of the Children’s Day, a Rumpus Room titled ‘Learning Ladders’ and a Play Pen named  ‘Tot Spot’ were dedicated to the Indian School Bahrain (ISB)  Riffa Campus on Friday. 

The Riffa Campus  is home to the Primary Section of the School and a fun- filled Play Area for the students of this Campus has been something that the school was looking forward to.

Indian Embassy Second Secretary Anand Prakash inaugurated the   Play Area  for tiny tots which has age-appropriate and safe play equipment for different age groups.

Anand Prakash  also inaugurated the  ‘Learning Ladders’  an Explore Room for Kindergartners with inbuilt facilities for  multimedia learning experience, puppetry, backyard science , language development, free play and much more.   He praised the School for this great initiative and commended its role to the service of the Indian community

In a colourful function, the students hosted the inaugural show in their inimitable style. School Chairman   Prince S. Natarajan spoke about the importance of making learning a very pleasant experience for the students, especially the little ones. Stressing that students in this campus ‘Learn to Read’ while those  in the senior campus ‘Read to Learn’, he also added that the Play Area has been developed taking into consideration the various aspects of child learning techniques and to make students physically active. In his address the ISB Chairman urged parents to join hands with the staff of the school to realize the dreams that they have for the students.

School  Secretary   Dr. Shemily P John thanked the staff for their untiring effort in setting up such a beautiful play area for the students of the Junior School Campus. She praised the good work being done by the staff of the school in bringing quality education to so many students at an affordable cost. The function was attended by School Vice Chairman Muhmmed Iqbal, EC members, Isa Town Campus Principal V.R Palaniswamy, Riffa Campus Principal K Sudhir, Vice Principal Pamela Xavier  and a large number of parents and teachers. Riffa Campus Principal while thanking the Chairman, Secretary and Members of the Executive Committee said that it was the teamwork under the guidance of the Vice Principal   Pamela Xavier that made this possible.
