New Indian School celebrates Annual Day
Manama : The New Indian School(NIS) hosted its 26th Annual Day with great exuberance at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Hall on Saturday.
The event was attended by educational specialists Lulua Abdulrahman Al Jowder and Jasim Mohamed Alsulaiman.
School Director and Principal Dr V Gopalan welcomed the gathering.
School Chairman Dr T T Thomas congratulated the students on their academic achievement. The Annual Report for the year 2015-2016 was read by Vice Principal Geethalakshmy K.
Meritorious students were felicitated and teachers who completed 10 years of service in the school were honoured. Pearl House emerged the Best House and the Runners Up trophy was secured by Ruby House.
The function was an ensemble of colourful and enlightening programmes showcasing the talent of the school. The culmination of the celebration was marked by vote of thanks by the Head Teacher Susy T. Paul to the guests and parents.
