Indian School Bahrain wins 7 awards

The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has won seven awards  at the Eighth Faber-Castell Spectra 2016,  the annual art carnival  organized by   the Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF)which  works under the patronage of the Indian Embassy.  Out of the 12 individual awards, the ISB won 7 awards besides the Rolling Trophy of Spectra 2016. ISB Chairman  Prince S  Natarajan called it   a historic sweep and congratulated all the participants, winners and the trainers from the ISB for this record achievement. School Secretary Dr. Shemily P John, Members of the Executive Committee , Isa Town campus  Principal V.R Palaniswamy and Riffa campus Principal   Sudhir Krishnan congratulated the winners and the teachers.  

ISB Art Education Department Head  Lekha Sasi  who coordinated the event for the school said that the department is proud of its achievement. She attributed the success not only to the talented  students but also to all the  participants, their parents and the art teachers Satheesh Paul, Deepak and   Fahima.     Satheesh Paul said the recognition to the  students is their motivation to excel.  

The students Sivkrishnan V Nair, Shwetha Ajay and Fahima thanked everyone who supported their creative talents. Madhav and Keerthana said  they are motivated to achieve more because of the award. The competition was tough and emerging victorious in their pool has boosted their confidence. 

Young prodigies of the ISB Riffa Campus Adeeb Kurukathodika and Anuja Anoop raised their trophies high and expressed profound happiness. Riffa campus Vice Principal Pamela Xavier and activity coordinator  Haseena P Abdullah praised the efforts of the art teachers  Sheela Roshan and   Zamzama for their valuable contributions. She said that these teachers took concrete steps to promote artistic talents in the junior campus.
