St Christopher’s School hold Caretakers Day Out
The annual fun day out for all the St Christopher’s School cleaners and caretakers took place last Saturday.
Kristina Bourner (Community Service Coordinator), teachers Louise Lonsdale and Janet Palmer, as well as Vanessa Pollard, HR & Facilities Manager, also joined the fun. The first stop was the National Museum, where everyone enjoyed taking in their surroundings and learning about Bahrain’s history. There was also an opportunity to take a boat across to Bu Maher Fort.
After the museum, everyone went on to the Funland ice skating rink where many were brave enough to try ice-skating! The third stop was Prince Khalifa bin Salman Park, where everyone enjoyed being outside in the fresh air. And finally, Lasani restaurant provided a fantastic buffet lunch for everyone to enjoy.
We really appreciate our cleaning and caretaking staff, and are thrilled to organise this fun day out for them. A big thank you to Kristina Bourner, Louise Lonsdale, Janet Palmer and Vanessa Pollard for attending and helping out on the day, and to Alyaa Bataineh, Community Service Coordinator, for planning the trip, a statement said.
