AL Noor inducts student council
Al Noor International School held the induction ceremony of the newly elected Student Council for the academic year 2016- 2017 in the school hall. The ceremony was attended by the School Director Dr Muhammad Mashood, Acting Principal Amin Mohammed Ahmed Hulaiwah, the Head of Quality Assurance Steve Bartlett, Head Teachers of the different sections of the school, Coordinators, teachers and a large number of students.
In the beginning, Hadi Mahdi, the Student Council members marched onto the stage and stood at attention for the singing of the national anthem of Bahrain. The audience received a wonderful welcome from the Head Girl Fatema Masood. The Head Boy Ahmed Ali Abdulhusain gave a rousing speech and thanked the students for the confidence they showed in his potential as a leader and pledged the Student Council members his commitment to working hard towards helping to improve the school.
KINDERGARTEN SPORTS DAY
The 12th Annual Kindergarten Sports Day was held yesterday at Al Noor International School where about 500 Kindergarten students from Nursery and Reception classes competed with each other in a number of colourful sports events for gold, silver, and bronze medals.In attendance were School Director Dr. Muhammad Mashood, Acting Principal Amin Mohammed Ahmed Hulaiwah as well as other school officials and staff.
The Kindergarten students enthusiastically cheered their team mates with their band performance, viewed by more than 800 spectators. The programme commenced with the verse from the Holy Quran recited by Omar Mohamed Elamir Salah of Reception 27. Farah Ali of Reception 10 and Mohamed Fadhel Ebrahim Salman of Reception 1, delivered the welcome speech. The oath was taken by Salwa Yaser Alawadhi of Reception– 22 and Mohamed Ahmed Bin Hindi of Reception – 2 .
Medals were proudly given to the winners by the School Director and Acting Principal, who stated, “Today has shown us that children of all ages can compete with team spirit and enthusiasm. Al Noor will always strive towards helping children achieve their desires in all areas.” All participants received gifts for taking part in the events and the day ended with the lowering of the school flag.
