British School observes Arabic Week
Manama : The British School of Bahrain observed Arabic Week at its campus in Hamala last week. During the celebrations, the Arabic department organised special activities to encourage the Arabic language and culture among the students. Arabic calligraphy, supervised by a specialist, was one among them.
The specialist held a workshop and detailed on different types of Arabic scripts. The students, however, started writing the script by the end of the workshop.
Reputed poet of Bahrain, Fatima Mohsin also attended the celebration and recited her poems to the students. It was also an occasion for them to interact with the poet.
