Unity and Diversity
The British School of Bahrain (BSB) is a reflection of the diversity that is part of the essence of the Kingdom of Bahrain. An International Day celebration was held at the school campus in Hamala giving the school community time to reflect, not just upon the tolerance of different nationalities, but a genuine appreciation of them.
The 2,400 students at the school, aged from 3 to 18 years wore traditional dress for the day. There was a parade and assemblies across the school showcasing many ethnic dances, songs and poetry readings; the aim was to prepare the students to become the global citizens.
