Students summer camp a big success, says INJAZ Bahrain
Manama : INJAZ Bahrain announced it has successfully concluded the latest edition of its summer camp with the participation of over 350 students and 55 volunteers from Bahrain’s primary and secondary schools as well as university interns.
The camp titled ‘INJAZ Bahrain Summer Camp 2017’ was held during the months of July and August at the premises of INJAZ Bahrain’s partnered companies.
Commenting on the initiative, Hana Sarwani, INJAZ Bahrain’s COO, said: “INJAZ Bahrain is dedicated to providing Bahrain’s youth with exciting and educational initiatives aimed to equip them with the skills and tools to succeed as Bahrain’s future business leaders.”
The camp delivered hands-on activities and programmes designed to provide students with necessary skills and practical experience in dealing with real-world business scenarios.
Additionally, as part of its summer activities, INJAZ Bahrain participated in the annual 2030 Youth City event in its seventh year. The event, organised by Bahrain’s General Organisation for Youth and Sports (GOYS), provided the platform for INJAZ Bahrain to offer its signature Company and ICAMP programmes.
INJAZ Bahrain is a non-profit organisation established in 2005 as part of Junior Achievement Worldwide, aimed at inspiring and preparing youth to succeed in a global economy. INJAZ Bahrain programmes focus around three pillars: Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, and Work Readiness. The programmes are offered by hundreds of volunteers from across the private sector institutions every year. Over the past 12 years, more than 130,000 students benefited from the 15 programmes that the organisation offers.
