Training for Polytechnic staff to boost efficiency

In an aim to enhance the efficiency of its employees in terms of creativity, excellence and leadership, Bahrain Polytechnic has partnered with the Ministry of Education’s Gifted Student Center to provide a number of workshops for its staff and management in relation to their area of specialization. These training sessions are set to run until November 2017 in the Center located in Muharraq.

Under the theme “Creative Teamwork in the Workplace”, the workshops were presented by Dr. Bader Buheji, Acting Director of the Gifted Student Center, and Dr. Salah Alawi, Senior Specialist of the Gifted Student Center. Around 25 staff members from various departments and directorates attended these training sessions.

The Polytechnic plans to hold a number of other training workshops in the near future on topics such as leadership, time management, and mind mapping.

Bahrain Polytechnic, represented by the Board of Trustees and executive management, expressed their thanks to the management of the Gifted Student Center and the training providers for their initiative and cooperation to deliver these courses to enhance the skills of the staff. It is worth mentioning that these training sessions are in line with the Polytechnic’s Strategic Plan 2015-2019, Government Action Plan 2015-2018 and Bahrain 2030 Vision.
