Bahrain Polytechnic 2016-17 graduation ceremony in November

Manama : Huda Alhalwachi, Manager of Enrolments, Progression & Results, announced that the graduation ceremony for the academic year 2016-17 will be on 29th November 2017 at the Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall located at the University of Bahrain campus in Sakhir.

Alhalwachi stated that graduates will need their photos taken to be used for the graduation booklet. The photo sessions will take place at Building 8 at the Polytechnic’s campus in Isa Town, starting from Monday (16th October) and Wednesday (18th October) from 9am to 2pm , and on Tuesday (17th October) from 9am to 7pm.

Male graduates are required to wear either a white thobe, ghutra and agal, or a formal suit with a white shirt and a tie for the photo session. Female graduates are required to wear either a black abaya with black shaila or hijab, or a formal suit with a white shirt.

Alhalwachi emphasized that the graduates need to update their personal data through the Self Service Banner and confirm their attendance for the graduation ceremony. She added that the Polytechnic will be forced to use the graduate’s university ID card photo in the booklet should they not attend the photo session. 

Graduates who are willing to deliver the graduation speech in Arabic can request for a copy of the speech by sending an email to graduation@polytechnic.bh.
