Bahrain Indian School hold workshop on Oral Hygiene
Manama : Bahrain Indian School- Bhavans organised a free dental checkup and awareness workshop at the school campus. A team of Senior Specialist Dental Surgeons of American Mission Hospital carried out a comprehensive dental checkup for students from Grade III- VIII.
The workshop was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent from them. The students got ample opportunities to interact with the dental surgeons Dr. Alexander Varghese and Dr. Bijosh K. Jose and gain knowledge concerning oral diseases. On completion of the dental checkup each student was given a Patient Card, a report summary of the diagnosed problem and the recommended dental treatment plan.
BIS Directors Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma thanked AMH and its team of medical staff for their support in inculcating a proper oral hygiene routine early in the life of young children.
