Children's day at New Horizon
The New Horizon School celebrated Children’s Day highlighting the theme of unity of all children despite the diversified national and cultural spectrum.
Beena Stephen the Head of English Department in her welcome address traced the history of Children’s Day in India leading to International Children’s Day that came in effect on India’s recommendation for a global celebration of childhood.
The teaching and the non-teaching staff left no event unturned to entertain the target of their noble profession “Children”. The Head Boy Zeedan proposed the vote of thanks initiated by the staff.
Mimicry, Dances, Songs, Skits and Speeches added colour to the Special Event.
The Management treated the staff and students with Ice-cream. The children were in colourful attire to make the No books day a memorable one.
