ISB celebrates French Day
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated “La Matinée Française 2017” (French Day) in its campus in Isa Town on November 22 in the presence of French Embassy Chargé de Mission Marine Gabana, Alliance Francaise Bahrain Director Christophe and Academic Coordinator Thomas Boillot. The programme was organized by the French Department of the school.
The first phase of the French Day which was held on November 11, in which 50 students from Classes VI to X participated in Pencil Drawing, Poster Making Competitions and Quiz Competition. In the second phase on November 22, in which around 150 students took part in Poem Recitation, Speech Competitions, cooking competition. French dances and group songs were also performed by the students of Classes VI to X. The winners of First, Second and Third Positions of each competitive event were awarded certificates and trophies.
