Gift of Reading

The Winter Concerts held by the British School of Bahrain (BSB) Junior and Senior schools this year have raised a grand total of BD469.725 for UWS (United World Schools) - The Gift of Reading.

This money will help UWS provide new libraries for their schools in Cambodia, Nepal and Myanmar and bring books and the gift of reading to many children who may never have seen a book before. Just GBP80 will help stock one entire library, so our donation will go a long way to stock 12 complete libraries.
