Christmas – New Year gaiety at NMS
“May your life be merry, filled with fun and laughter,
And may each day bring joy your way, in the year that follows after.”
These words echoed from every nook and corner of NMS DPS, during the week long Christmas and New Year celebrations in the school.
The year 2017 at NMS DPS, turned its last page to welcome another year with the Yuletide celebrations coupled with New Year wishes. The joyous festival of Christmas transcended religious boundaries and resources within each child as a time of glee, merriment and unity.
To impart the element of solidarity among students, the school always gives them a chance to explore and celebrate all major festivals. It not only helps inculcate the true essence of tolerance among the young ones but also whole hearted acceptance. Christmas, is that time of the year when we share and care and celebrate as a joyous family affair.
Soaking in this unique spirit of Christmas and New Year, the students of NMS DPS celebrated the festival in advance, in the school campus this week. The entire campus was festooned with colourful streamers and balloons and brightly decorated Christmas trees. A wave of cheer enveloped the school, overriding every other emotion, depicting the true essence of love, joy and peace.
The special assembly presented by the young students was a confluence of vibrant colours, jubilance, creativity and artistic talent of the students. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal, Arun Kuumar Sharma, motivated the students to follow the true spirit and message of Christmas and emerge as better human beings.
Chairman, Dr. Ravi Pillai and the Managing Director, Geetha Pillai, extended their warm wishes and blessings on the occasion. The celebration at school was the best way to end a meritorious and eventful year and welcome another fruitful one with outstretched arms.
