Honouring young scientists

Manama : The top grade achievers of Sastra Pratibha contest were honoured during an award ceremony organised by Science India Forum (SIF) Bahrain at the Cultural Hall in Marina.  Mewar University President Prof. V.N Rajasekharan was the guest of honour of the ceremony.  Indian Embassy Second Secretary Anand Prakash inaugurated the award ceremony. 

Vijnana Bharati Secretary General A. Jayakumar, Science India Forum Middle East Co-ordinator T.M.Nandakumar, Inthmaar Bank Deputy CEO  Ravindra Khot, and SIF Bahrain Advisory Board chairman Ravi Warrier delivered felicitation speeches. SIF President Rajeesh Kumar presided over the function. The  Sastra Pratibha title achievers received their trophies and certificates from Prof. V.N Rajasekharan Pillai and Anand Prakash.  

Certificates for the “A+” grade achievers were also given away during the function.  The Bahrain Science Innovation Congress-2017 contest winners also received the awards at the ceremony.

An interactive session, “Meet the Scientist” was held. The students who achieved the “Sastra Pratibha” titles in the Sastra Pratibha Contest 2017 had the opportunity to interact with the educationalists.   

The  Sastra Pratibhas  2017 winners will have the opportunity to visit the prestigious Science and Technology research Organizations in India.
